2023 Team BLVD Vet All Staff Event
It’s hard to believe that 2023 capped off nine years of service for BLVD Vet!
Here are a few highlights:
16 professionals joined our team - including 6 veterinarians
We proudly promoted 12 BLVD team members
Added Acupuncture and Chiropractic services to BLVD Vet Logan Square

Opened BLVD Vet Lakeview East!

In order to meet the growing demand for veterinary care, we added 6 veterinarians and 10 support staff members in 2023. We have felt extremely fortunate to find and hire such talented and compassionate individuals to add to our BLVD Team.
Dr. Veronica Cruz, Dr. Alexis Brill, Dr. Gabrielle Boisture, Dr. Val Ivanina, Dr. Andie Grant and Dr. Alyssa Blanchard have been a warm addition to the BLVD Team in 2023!
In 2023, we rolled out some very exciting new services; all performed by your trusted BLVD Vet team members!
Dr. Veronica Cruz offers Acupuncture and Chiropractic services at BLVD Vet Logan Square. Dr. Cruz uses these services in conjunction with traditional western medicine to address various conditions such as: urinary obstruction, pancreatitis, inappropriate urination, kidney disease and various neurologic conditions, when appropriate and safe.
Additionally, we are now offering In-House Ultrasound Imaging. Our very own ultrasound-certified Veterinary Technicians will be collaborating with a virtual licensed sonographer to perform real-time abdominal ultrasounds and echocardiograms on your pets right at BLVD Vet.

Built a new Rescue Partnership with Chicago Canine Rescue!

We were humbled, grateful and excited to accept the award for 2022 Best Veterinarian of Chicago in the Chicago Reader Awards! It was an incredible honor to even be nominated in the community voted award, let alone win. We take so much pride in being connected to our communities. We proudly remain one of Chicago’s few independently owned family of clinics.
In even more exciting news, we’ve been nominated again this year! Last, but not least, we officially opened our doors at our new home in Lakeview East!
In less than one year of operations, BLVD Vet Lakeview East has won the industry's most prestigious design award (DVM 360 Hospital of the Year Grand Prize) with special kudos to our Design Director, Kelly Frederickson, and Vice President, Audrey Laroche CVPM, for their guidance of that project. Additionally, we are also thrilled to share that BLVD Vet Lakeview East is officially AAHA accredited! None of this would be possible without the dedication of our opening team and the support of our community. We look forward to serving the pets of Lakeview East for the years to come!
It’s been a year of growth and gratitude! We want to express a sincere thank you for all of the support over the last year and are truly humbled to be able to open our doors every day as an independent and locally owned business. We can’t wait to see what 2024 brings!
