Dr. Erin Newman
Dr. Erin Newman spent her high school years in Chicago and made her way back after graduating from University of Illinois College of Veterinary. She has loved animals as long as she can remember and her favorite thing about practicing is making a difference in the lives of her patients and watching them improve under her care.

Dr. Gabrielle Boisture
Dr. Boisture comes from a small town, an island in the Detroit River, called Grosse Ile, MI. Here is where she fell in love with the close-knit community and wildlife, resulting in her dream to build relationships with both people and animals as a veterinarian. Her summers were spent working as a veterinary assistant or as the island wide dog sitter. She attended Michigan State University, where she obtained her DVM.

Dr. Alyssa Blanchard
Dr. Alyssa Blanchard hails from Iowa, but has enjoyed living in Chicago since beginning her veterinary journey in 2020. Dr. Blanchard says she always knew she wanted to work in the healthcare field, but became interested in veterinary medicine after volunteering at PAWS Lurie Spay & Neuter Clinic in Chicago during her undergraduate degree.
History
After the growth made possible by the strong support of our community and the BLVD Team, Dr. Dylan Frederickson opened our second location in River North in 2017. At that time, there was an obvious need for a modern veterinary practice in the underserved neighborhood pet community, and we found a happy home in River North! Utilizing what we learned in Logan Square, we were able to bring the service and quality care we’re known for to a second neighborhood in Chicago. Boulevard Veterinary River North proudly remains completely independently owned, allowing us to prioritize our patients, clients and team members.
