Dr. Euna Lee

Logan Square

Veterinarian

Bio

Dr. Euna Lee grew up in Vernon Hills, Illinois, and moved to Chicago at the end of June, so she is still discovering all the city has to offer. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Zoology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Dr. Lee originally entered undergrad with plans to pursue a career in nursing. During her freshman year, the loss of her childhood dog changed the course of her career: she found herself wishing she had understood more about veterinary medicine so she could have better recognized what her dog was experiencing and how to help ease her suffering, including knowing when humane euthanasia might have been the kinder choice. Veterinary school gave her the deeper understanding she had wished for, and that experience continues to inspire her to be the veterinarian she needed back then, helping other pets and families navigate similar moments today.

Her favorite part of the job is building relationships with clients and their pets, and getting to see firsthand how veterinary medicine can make a real difference in an animal's life. She loves knowing that the knowledge she brings to work every day has a positive impact on both pets and the people who love them.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Lee shares her life with Miso, a very spoiled 6-year-old Mini Goldendoodle. She's an avid traveler with the Galápagos Islands at the top of her bucket list, and a self-proclaimed foodie who loves cooking, baking, and exploring new restaurants around Chicago.
