Bio

Originally from Pennsylvania, Dr. Spano earned his undergraduate degree in Veterinary and Biomedical Science from Penn State before completing his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine (Virginia Tech). He has been in Chicago for nearly three years and is proud to call the city home.

Dr. Spano brings a genuine passion for veterinary medicine to his work every day. He enjoys teaching, leading, and building strong, trusting relationships with his clients, recognizing the importance of caring for both pets and the people who love them. For him, the most rewarding part of this profession is making a meaningful, positive impact on families’ lives. As a Fear-Free Certified veterinarian, he is dedicated to creating a calm, compassionate experience for every patient.
