Dr. Rachel Harrell

Bio

Dr. Rachel Harrell is originally from a small town in Delaware. Growing up, she spent most of her free time outdoors with her family’s two Labrador Retrievers. Dr. Harrell has always felt a connection with animals and a responsibility to advocate for them, which led her to become a veterinarian.

She attended University of Delaware for undergrad, followed by University of Pennsylvania for veterinary school. Dr. Harrell loves a new adventure and recently decided to move to Chicago with her partner in crime, Ollie. She adopted Ollie, a very special orange cat, her first year of vet school.

Dr. Harrell was immediately drawn to BLVD vet by the sense of community. Her favorite part of vet med is working with people who share her passion for animals and medicine. When Dr. Harrell is not at BLVD, she enjoys staying active, playing piano, and arts and crafts.
