New Veterinary Technician Graduates
The Right Start
It’s important to start your veterinary career on the right foot. There is a lot of variability in the veterinary field in how hospitals utilize their Veterinary Technicians and if they allow you to really flex the skills you’ve worked so hard to acquire.
Boulevard Veterinary is committed to leveraging its Veterinary Technicians to the full extent of their capabilities and giving them the support and room to grow. All BLVD Veterinarians are encouraged to share their knowledge and allow Veterinary Technicians to use their skills (we have Veterinary Assistants for restraint). All team members are there to help you practice and expand your skills because we know the more you can do, the more cohesively we can work together as a team!
What Makes Us Different
We use a tailored training program to start your career at BLVD with confidence. You’ll have an assigned trainer who will guide you using a structured training period that typically lasts several weeks, ensuring you are familiar with BLVD protocols and systems.
We support your continuing education so you can contribute to the success of the BLVD Team long term. Continuing education is highly valued at BLVD Vet and we provide monetary stipends and time so you can remain current in veterinary medicine. We want you to see the veterinary field as a long term career opportunity.
We encourage a culture of positivity and teamwork. We want all staff to look forward to working with their teammates. To help foster that, all team members are evaluated for their ability to perform professionally and work cohesively as a team. BLVD Vet is No Drama workplace.
We are not afraid of innovation and change. We are continuously integrating new ideas from our BLVD Team and aren’t afraid to invest in the future. We are always looking for motivated leaders and champions. If you have a goal you want to achieve in your career in veterinary medicine, we want to hear about it!
