Rescue Partners

Boulevard Veterinary is a proud Chicago Rescue Partner! In keeping with our Core Value of Dedication to Community, we provide assistance to 501(c)(3) rescues all over Chicago through volunteering, donations, fundraisers and discounts on our services. Our mission is to adhere to Boulevard Veterinary’s Core Values, enhancing the lives of animals, and promoting animal welfare by engaging and collaborating with rescue organizations within our community.

BLVD Rescue Partners

We partner with many rescues across Chicago and categorize our relationships with them as either a Rescue Partner or a Rescue Neighbor. A Rescue Partner receives 80% of our annual rescue budget and a 50% discount on most services. Our current Rescue Partners are ALIVE Rescue, Live Like Roo Foundation, Wild Hearts and The Catcade!

ALIVE Rescue

ALIVE Rescue is a no-kill animal rescue specializing in the old, the unwanted, the sick and the forgotten. ALIVE Rescue provides medical, behavioral and physical support for animals despite their age, health and/or breed. ALIVE Rescue promotes sustainable living and caregiving within our communities by building awareness, appreciation and respect for all animals and the environment.

Our Rescue Partner perks assisted ALIVE Rescue with:

Over $27,600 on BLVD services and procedures
Our Rescue Committee contributed to:

Live Like Roo Foundation

Live like Roo Foundation is a donation-based organization who provides support and financial assistance to families whose pet faces a cancer diagnosis. Through grants, care packages, special experiences and genuine human support and kindness, The Live Like Roo Foundation has been able to assist over 8,200 pets and their families through cancer diagnosis.

Our Rescue Partner perks assisted Live Like Roo with:

Over $20,000 on BLVD services and procedures
Our Rescue Committee contributed to:

- Dog Prom
- The Frederickson household blanket making party

Wild Hearts

Formally known as Bialy’s Wellness Foundation, with a growing mission and amount of pets in their care (they are on track for 230 pets in 2020), Wild Hearts provides continuous, comprehensive care to animals with mobility issues and the people that love them. Wild Hearts offers financial and resource support, veterinary services, holistic rehabilitation therapy, assistive devices and ongoing education. Wild Hearts believes that all pets deserve the good life.

The Catcade

The Catcade is a non-profit, arcade-themed cat rescue, lounge, and our version of a cat café. Their lounge simulates a home environment. Cats are not kept in cages, instead they get to live in the 600 sq. ft. lounge where guests can pay to visit the lounge and spend time playing, cuddling, and socializing the adoptable rescue cats.

The Catcade uses donations to create a safe, healthy space for their cats and provide all the necessary medical and daily care to the rescued cats on their way to finding their forever homes.
