New Year, More Cats with The Catcade
Friends and Neighbors,
Have you heard of our friends over at The Catcade? The Catcade is a non-profit, arcade-themed cat rescue, lounge, and version of a cat café. Their lounge simulates a home environment. Cats are not kept in cages, instead they get to live in the 600 sq. ft. lounge where guests can visit and spend time playing, cuddling, and socializing the rescue cats. All of their cats are adoptable, with the exception of their resident cat Leo. Our own Dr. Lenyr Munoz has been volunteering her veterinary services with The Catcade for some time and has been a huge help getting us acquainted!
Boulevard Veterinary will be matching donations up to $500 starting Monday January 4th to Sunday January 10th. Like many businesses in 2020, The Catcade has had to close their facility to guests which has been detrimental to their rescue. They have oodles of cats in their care at any given time; adopting out 400 cats in 2020 alone! We are delighted to support them during a time when they really need it.
