ALIVE Rescue Giving Tuesday Fundraiser
Dear Friends and Neighbors,
December 1st, 2020 is Giving Tuesday and BLVD Vet is matching up to $500 in donations made to our Rescue Partner, ALIVE Rescue from Monday 11/23 to Sunday 11/29.
Help ALIVE Rescue raise $50,000 to officially break ground on The Big Barn, ALIVE Rescue’s largest project, newest facility and biggest dream.
The Big Barn is a beautiful 4,800 square foot facility in Salem Lakes, Wisconsin. Once complete, The Big Barn will house up to 30 pups at a time. Some of the features of The Big Barn include:
2 rooms for pregnant and nursing dogs experiencing behavioral challenges
A retirement room for any pups needing long-term housing
2 specially-designed suites for dogs with behavioral challenges
16 regular dog suites
A grooming room
A large indoor play area to use during inclement weather
Pets at The Big Barn will be able to decompress from the chaos of the city and enjoy playing in large fenced-in fields within the 70-acre lot. Additionally, because ALIVE will have full-time staff, they will be able to provide 24-hour care to dogs with medical needs. Their Rescue House will be located steps away from The Big Barn and will offer individual sleeping accommodations where dogs can rest with a human companion monitoring them throughout the night. For ALIVE (and for us) this is a dream come true!
Groundbreaking for The Big Barn is finally here, but ALIVE needs your help! In honor of this Giving Tuesday 2020, the BLVD Vet Rescue Committee is matching up to $500 in donations made to ALIVE Rescue from Monday 11/23 to Sunday 11/29.
